Started out the day in Seaside with breakfast at Pig’N’Pancake, fueling up for a 58 mile ride to Clatskanie. We stopped for lunch at Bridgewater Bistrio in Astoria with Barry and Louise. Made it to Clatskanie about 6:00 to find no electricity. Got a room with no lights or hot water, no food in town either. Still better than camping in the rain. Did I mention rain? It drizzled and rained pretty much all day but hasn’t dampened our spirits. Adventure has to have adversity to be really relished anyway. Everything’s good. Greg

Randy and I are on the way to Seaside thanks to John, Aron, and Charlie (the dog). Stopped at Hood River for great pizza at Double Mountain brewery. The capicola red pepper is awesome!. Still trying to get to Seaside before midnight, have to repack and put things together tomorrow morning. We can’t believe we’re finally on our way.
